Centering on the core concept of "value-added audit", Sunny optical technology (Group) Co., Ltd. has continuously strengthened its governance in Anti-Corruption, constructed defense line from the aspects of corruption case investigation, related party transaction review, anti-corruption training publicity and implementation, and system construction, continuously improved internal control measures, and minimized the economic losses caused by corruption. At the same time, the group adopts a "zero tolerance" attitude towards corruption cases . The case will be handled when found. The suspected cases will be transferred to the relevant law enforcement and judicial organs for handling. Through the combination of combact and prevention, the group will move forward to the overall goal of "dare not corrupt ", "can not corrupt" and " do not want to corrupt ", and jointly maintain a clean and disciplined business environment.

Overseas anti-corruption trainings in Sunny Optical

In order to further deepen the anti-corruption awareness of overseas management cadres and employees, the Audit Department of the Group recently travelled to Vietnam and conducted three anti-corruption trainings on the theme of "Causes and prevention of corruption" for the Vietnamese factories of Sunny Opotech, Sunny Automotive Optech and Sunny Infrared Technology. The target of this training is mainly for cadres above the sub-class level and employees in sensitive positions in Vietnam factory, further expanding the coverage of anti-corruption training for employees in key positions of the company; At the same time, the training content started from the definition and causes of corruption, combined with local laws and regulations and relevant policies in China and Vietnam, and was explained through fascinating practical cases, which could better help employees think about how to better prevent and control corruption from the root causes.

At the end of the training, the Audit Department proclaimed to all participants the integrity goal of "dare not corrupt, can not corrupt, do not want to corrupt", that is, the "three non- corrupt", and required all employees to keep the bottom line of integrity in their daily work and create a clean and honest Sunny together.

A series of "12·9 International anti-Corruption Day" publicity activities in Sunny Optical
 


In order to continuously to promote the goal of "dare not corrupt, can not corrupt, do not want to corrupt", create a clean atmosphere within the enterprise, and strengthen employees ' awareness of integrity, Sunny Optical held a series of "12·9 International anti-Corruption Day" publicity activities, which was divided into the following four parts:
1. Catch the eye - Anti-corruption publicity banners were hung in the factory;
2. Teach through fun -- Held "12·9 International anti-Corruption Day " prize knowledge competition, which attracted more than 5,000 employees to actively participate in the contest, and 554 people won the prize in the end;

The Group Wins the Innovation Nomination Award of Zhejiang Grass-roots Anti-corruption Construction
 
Recently, the Group won the Innovation Nomination Award of the 3rd "Top Ten Innovative Experiences in Grass-roots Anti-corruption Construction (Zhejiang)". The Group was the only enterprise in Ningbo that won this honor, and has been intensively reported by the provincial, municipal and county media.

For more than 30 years, the Group has always adhered to the construction of an anti-corruption mechanism. From the founder Mr. Wang Wenjian 's proposal of "manage people around you", "prevent familization", "money scattered people gathered", "play an exemplary role" to Chairman Ye Liaoning's announcement in the open letter titled by "Strictly Prevent Internal Corruption and Keep a healthy Sunny Optical” to all employees, and then to the Group clearly putting forward the overall anti-corruption goals of " dare not corrupt", "can not corrupt" and "do not want to corrupt", the Group regards top-level design as the cornerstone of the anti-corruption corporate governance,  which could be conducive to building a “Hundred-Year-Old Brand” enterprise.

"Management Measures for Investigation of Corruption Cases (for Trial Implementation)" Officially Released
 
In order to regulate the investigation on corruption, establish an awareness of working with "one heart and one mind" on anti-corruption over the Group and further deepen the construction of Sunny Optical's anti-corruption compliance system, the Group has issued the "Management Measures for Investigation of Corruption Cases (for Trial Implementation)" (the "Measures") based on the requirements of the anti-corruption work. The Measures states clear provisions on the investigation process of corruption cases, ledger management, co-investigation mechanism, investigation reports and other aspects:
 
1. Standardization of investigation process: distinguish the case process into 4 stages including acceptance, investigation, processing and archiving, and put forward specific requirements to different investigation subjects in different stages;
 
2. The ledger of case managements: department in charge of investigation should follow the management principles of "specific person, commercial secrets management and regular record" to establish the corruption acceptance ledger;
 
3. Mechanism of case co-investigation: in case of troublesome issues, escalation of the situation and other unusual circumstances, the subjects in charge of investigation can apply for co-investigation with other relevant departments, and if necessary, external third-parties can be hired for the assistance with co-investigation;
 
4. Template of investigation reports: uniform the template of investigation reports, specify the approval process, and implement the management of "one case one file".

Start from Myself, Build an Integrated Ecology
-Notice on Strengthening the Management of the "Sunny Integrity Library"
 
In order to further delineate the boundaries of compliance, prevent the risk of commercial bribery and promote the integrity of all employees, the Group has issued the "Notice on Strengthening the Management of the 'Sunny Integrity Library' " (the "Notice") recently in light of the actual situation of business transactions. The Notice clearly specified the scope of property acceptance, property management department, the method of its submission, and the obtaining and using of gifts, etc. For the violations such as not submitting property as required, the Group will punish the relevant personnel if verified.

The Notice clearly specified that any business dealing units and individuals must resolutely refuse to accept cash or other kinds of gifts given. If it is difficult to return all kinds of gifts (worth more than RMB 500) and cash for any special reasons, the staff concerned must declare and hand them over to the principal of the company's integrity library within 7 working days from the date of receipt.

All staff should be "honest and self-disciplined, firmly refusing to take any bribes; if failed to refuse, hand it over". We hope that all business partners work together to maintain an integrated ecology!

December 9, 2021 is the 18th International Anti-Corruption Day, and the Group appealed to all employees to fully carry forward the traditional virtue of hard working, abstain from luxury and be frugal, and work together to safeguard the outstanding foundation established by all generations of employees.

In order to prevent and combat corruption, the United Nations formulated the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (《联合国反腐败公约》) in 2003, the first legal instrument in its history to guide the fight against corruption, and designated 9th December as the International Anti-Corruption Day in 2004 to advocate the concept of "helping with clearing corruption is everyone's bounden duty". The theme of the 2021 International Anti-Corruption Day was "Your right, your role: say no to corruption", which sought to emphasize the rights and responsibilities of everyone - including states, government officials, civil servants, law enforcement officials, media representatives, the private sector, civil society, academia, the public and youth – in tackling corruption.

"It is easy to go from frugality to luxury, but difficult to go from luxury to frugality". We hope that all people in Sunny Optical can establish a healthy view of life and values, refrain from blindly pursuing material enjoyment and focus on improving their business capabilities and inner cultivation. Cultivating the Spirit of Honesty and Integrity
-A series of anti-corruption trainings in Sunny Optical
 
 

Recently, a series of anti-corruption trainings orgnized by the Audit Department of the Group are in full swing. So far, the trainings have covered all the subsidiaries in Yuyao City and Xinyang City, and will be conducted in Sunny Zhongshan Optics soon.

For a long time, the Group has attached great importance to the construction of anti-corruption, and has been committed to create a "healthy Sunny Optical", effectively formulating and implementing a number of anti-corruption initiatives and measures. Since the publication of the revised Anti-Corruption Policy(《反贪污制度》)in April this year, the Group's Audit Department has been promoting it through various online platforms, and has been conducting on-site trainings for management cadres at the level of deputy sector supervisors and above, as well as employees in sensitive positions, in all subsidiaries since mid-May. The training was carried out in an orderly manner with great cooperation and support of all subsidiaries.

The training on anti-corruption was mainly introduced based on three aspects, including the overview of anti-corruption, the interpretation of the Anti-Corruption Policy and the construction of anti-corruption. By citing a large number of vivid cases and impressive data, the participants understood the urgency and importance of anti-corruption work. The training also emphasized that anti-corruption requires the participation of all staff, and every employee should not only strictly abide by the rules and regulations of anti-corruption, but also be the supervisor and manager of corruption behavior.

In this series of training, the general managers of subsidiaries also expressed that cadres at all levels of management should act as a role model, not hold the lucky psychology, draw inferences, explore underlying corruption, optimize organization and processes, and work together to create a clean and healthy corporate culture environment.

Corruption is the enemy of an enterprise for sustainable and healthy development. The only way to form immunity from corruption is to confront it and prevent it, and to penetrate anti-corruption into all areas of daily operation of the enterprise. The anti-corruption task is important and requires long-term efforts. Therefore, the Audit Department of the Group will continue to deepen the series of training on anti-corruption, enhance the prevention and control of corruption, check erroneous ideas at the outset, build up the ideological line of defense against corruption, and strive to build a great wall of integrity.

Anti-Corruption Policy 2021 revised edition released
 
On April 14, 2021, the revised "Anti-Corruption Policy(《反贪污制度》)" was officially released. This revision clarifies and improves the definition and content of corruption, the prevention and control of corruption, the acceptance, investigation and report of corruption cases, and adds new terms of rewards and punishments in combination with the "Management Measures for Staff Rewards and Punishments(《员工奖惩管理办法》)". In order to effectively implement the anti-corruption measures, the group plans to continue to effectively publicize and implement the system through enterprise network college, on-site propaganda and other channels, tighten the system fence, and jointly create a "dare not corrupt" responsibility system, "can not corrupt" institutional system, "do not want to corrupt" integrity system.
