On February 7, 2023, Forbes China released the "2022 Forbes China Top 50 Sustainable Industrial Companies", and Sunny Optical Technology was included on the list.

      On August 31, 2022, Forbes China launched the assessment of "2022 Forbes China Top 50 Sustainable Industrial Companies", which aims to identify industrial companies with far-reaching and outstanding achievements in sustainable development, and establish benchmarks for Chinese industrial companies to help them further optimize their sustainable development strategies, thereby contributing to the construction of a green China and evergreen enterprises. This assessment is based on the five dimensions of "management system, technological innovation, comprehensive efficiency, resource allocation and demonstration", which is independently designed by Forbes China, with a panel of experts invited to make a comprehensive assessment.

      The companies selected this year are those who have been operating steadily for more than three years and have a domestic market capitalization or valuation over ￥30 billion, or revenue over ￥10 billion in the previous year. This honor not only indicates that the company’s stable and mature management system, but also its globally competitive advantages and its globally leading technology, making it an industry benchmark with high value of sustainable development.
