Sunny Optical Technology Launches TCFD Project in Collaboration with EY to Build a Sustainable Future

On March 17, 2025, Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Sunny Optical Technology") officially launched its Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) project, with the support of Ernst & Young (EY)'s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team, which delivered a tailored training program. With 129 participants from the Group, the event fostered discussions on international climate standards, industry practices, and risk mitigation strategies, marking a significant step forward in Sunny Optical Technology's efforts to address climate change and advance its ESG strategy.

In partnership with EY and industry leaders, Sunny Optical Technology intends to leverage scientific management and technological innovation to tackle climate challenges, thereby contributing to the global transition toward sustainable development.

Sunny Optical Technology Selected as one of the first “Waste-Free Group” in Zhejiang Province

Recently, zhejiang province beautiful zhejiang construction leading group office announced the province's first batch of “Waste-Free Group” “Waste-free commercial neighborhoods (business district)” key cultivation list, a total of 31“Waste-Free Group”and 20 “waste-free business districts”.Sunny Optical Technology was selected as a “Waste-Free Group”.

Sunny Optical Technology was honored with the “2024 Green Sustainability Contribution Award” at the 2024 International Green Zero Carbon Festival for its outstanding achievements in sustainability.With the theme of “Towards a Carbon Neutral Road”, the International Zero Carbon Festival aims to build a diversified and open platform for exchanges and cooperation, explore new modes of green development and paths for realizing the dual-carbon goal, and help economic transformation and upgrading as well as sustainable development.

    Recently, Fortune (Chinese Version) publishes the 2024 China ESG Influence List, and Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Co., Ltd.     The 100 leading private enterprise social responsibility companies in Zhejiang Province, based on the data of the special research on private enterprise social responsibility led by the China Federation of Industry and Commerce(CFIC).From the amount of tax payment, employment, participation in charity and public welfare and other 9 aspects of quantitative indicators, the national dimension, shareholder dimension, employee dimension, ecological environment dimension, the dimension of responsible governance and other 8 aspects of a total of 45 qualitative indicators for the evaluation of the initial selection, the evaluation team to give the evaluation opinion, and ultimately produce the 2023 annual Zhejiang private enterprise social responsibility 100 leading enterprises. ESG and Low Carbon Rankings of China's Overseas Listed Companies in 2023

    On 22 August 2023, the "2023 Global Sustainability Forum" was held in Shenzhen, jointly organised by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and the Shenzhen Institute of Data Economy. In this forum, Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. was selected as one of the " Top 100 ESG and Low Carbon Rankings of China's Overseas Listed Companies " due to its outstanding performance in low carbon management.

  The "Top 100 China's Overseas Listed Companies in ESG and Low Carbon Ranking" focuses on the top 100 Chinese listed companies in terms of market capitalisation on the New York Stock Exchange, the NASDAQ Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Sunny Optical Tech wins Green Sustainable Development Contribution Award

On June 15, the 2023 International Green Zero Carbon Festival and 2023 ESG Leadership Summit, jointly organized by syobserve.com, Gongyi Daily and various domestic public and financial media, was held in Beijing, with the theme of the event: The road to carbon neutrality. The activity takes "innovation, influence, driving force, forward-looking" as the main selection indicator with more than 600 candidates, and the awards are divided into six categories, namely Comprehensive Award, Personality Award, Product Award, Special Award, Case Award, and Single Award. The Organizing committee invites well-known research institutions, consulting companies, experts and scholars, and media leaders to form a review committee.
